A Monitoring and Evaluation framework is essential to the successful implementation of the Readiness project. A working group of the REDD+ Steering Committee will be responsible for the evaluation of the successes and setbacks of the REDD+ project, with support from the TEG.

The monitoring of the activities under this project will be continuous and involve site visits, periodic interviews, surveys where necessary and formal biannual reports. Evaluation of the project will occur on a yearly basis.
