The Feedback Grievance Redress Mechanism (FGRM) is a set of necessary procedures to effectively address conflicts and grievances arising from REDD+ readiness activities and the broader land-use sector.
The FGRM is necessary for three reasons:
a.) As an information sharing mechanism to respond to queries from the general public.
b.) As a tool to help the implementation process and enhance operational efficiency.
c.) As a mechanism to provide practical suggestions/feedback to the government of Belize, which will ensure accountability, transparency, and responsiveness to the needs of various stakeholders.
